Romero was gold on the mic. People are going on how its going very wwe like with the interviews and media so fair play romero for cutting a fine heel promo.

The shot of bisping staring from the rafters has me buzzing for the fight.

Ufc is looking very good going into the new year with woodley v thompson 2 and bisping v romero to come early i would think

Also, can someone explain why the Woodley/Wonderboy fight was a draw? 47-47, 47-47, 48-46... How does that not make it a win to Woodley?

2 out of the 3 judges scored in a draw, so a majority draw. That is my reading of it.

The look on Woodleys face was absolutely priceless last night when they changed the result he thought the belt was being taken.

Just watched the pre fight conference again.

Eddie just got completely ignored and destroyed.

No one was responding to what he was saying, he must have felt like a fool.

Surprised no journalists asked Conor about Eddie's allegation...

I think some people see power and being equal to good boxing.

Eddie has a right hook, decent foot and head movement and that's about his lot boxing wise. He has a nice inside legkick too, but he's not a muay thai fighter either.

He did what every short guy does, tried to control distance, over extended and left his chin hanging and got tagged every time.

Yep people see him wrecking RDA with a 1-2 basic shot sequence and they overate him, he doesnt posses any real solid boxing fundamentals imo,

I'm not saying hes bad or some bum at striking but he doesn't have a jab his footwork is ok but the angles are all pretty basic orthodox wrestler in mma - predictable.

Once mcgregor stuffed the takedown. The fight was over. Why he didnt kick the legs when he was clearly miles out of reach is a mystery.

Jesus couldnt train Eddie to beat Conor but this is further proof of what I been saying about Mark Henry, hes an overated glorified ex army pad man none of his fighters showed any great game plans tonight.

Worth noting that if it wasn't for Frankie Edgar having unbelievable heart, that Mark Henry linked fighters would have went 0-5 last night.

As it was, they went 1-4. I say "linked" in the sense the people who were in the camp together for this fight - Edgar, Alvarez, Chakoogian, Weidman etc.

Wonder was it a mistake for Weidman to split his time between Henry and Serra-Longo for this camp?

Anyway, for the record John Kavanagh went 1-0 on the night. :pac:

I was thinking this after the fight. A shot of them in the bar would have been priceless. Everytime the camera went back to them they were a little drunker. Classic

Yep as I said before hes completely overated dont know how he has such a reputation,

Its also very clear Alvarez underestimated Conor like they all do, remember him saying this is a ''gimme'' fight he cant be intimidated by a man in a custom suit, the illusion of greatness is over and so on,

Not to rub it in but we remember the Diaz loss we didnt hear the end of it, its nice to bask in victory and I hope Eddie takes this graciously as Conor took his loss as he appears to be doing.

If there is indeed a god and I believe there is, then the video will be leaked of them during the fight.

Harsh on Mark Henry. He's been with Edgar all the way, Eddie won the title under him and Barboza looks great. People parroting Conor a bit too much, Conor annihilated eddie because he's exceptional not because Henry is a **** coach.

Eddie kept saying it was an easy fight for him but there's this beautiful picture that possibly hints he knew otherwise.

I'm not gonna get into amateur psychology but this doesn't look like a man preparing for a simple fight - and more importantly he didn't fight like a man believing it was an easy fight.....whereas Conor did.

I've been saying it before Conor was even stated to fight him so your theory is ridiculous it has nothing to do with Conor saying anything,

Everyone ramps on about him but hes no combat experience he he done some boxing in the army and all of a sudden hes a great coach, when it mattered at ufc 200 he takes responsibility for that Edgar plan and they got absolutely schooled,

Kavanagh has actually fought in mma hes a real coach thats gets abuse while Henry gets nothing said about the amount of loses he takes.

She did well and showed heart but was still completely outclassed

I was really hoping Karolina would win, and not just because I have a massive crush on her :D

What would people say is next for her UFC career? Wonder how soon she might fight again?

I thought Dana said at the after fight press conf that it will be Karolina v Claudia next. Presumably winner gets another got at Joanna, who needs some time to recover from her broken nose and other facial injuries

JoJo, Andrade or VanZant would be my guess followed by Gadelha. Something like that.

She's probably 2 wins from getting the rematch. I think the UFC said they are aiming for Q3 for the Poland event next year so that would give her plenty of time.

Surely!! I just imagine it looking a lot like Hillarys "victory" party the other night.

He must have had what, 20 people there? Philly represents!

I have to say i have never been more enthralled in a fight in my life when woodley had thompson in the guillotine in the 4th round. Edge of my seat stuff and i actually let out a cheer when he escaped.
