Alvarez giving credit to McGregor. Saying he boxed too much, and fittingly can't recall a lot of it.

Spoke to Alvarez. Said he fought a dumb fight. Was supposed to kick and wrestle. Says he did neither. Blames himself for dropping game plan.

And the reason he didn't is because McGregor got into his head and he came in wanting to knock his block off.

Never underestimate what McGregor does in the build up.

In fairness, he is being asked about it and he has been fairly consistent on his comments.

I love Weidman, am feckin gutted he lost. But he played a big role in getting the NY stuff rollin, and it sounds like he is just gonna treasure that. I hope he comes back.

Eddie looked like a man who hadn't slept in about a week at the weigh-in.

His walking out of the press conference on Thursday was completely out of character for him and he could barely sting a sentence together at the weigh-in last night when the crowd were booing him.

People can say it doesn't really matter all they want and in fairness to Eddie he was fine in the initial presser last month, but Conor absolutely got into Eddie's head this week.

    Nobody does it better.

Looking for a share of the company, big ask.

Conor sounds like he has no interest in defending either of the belts.

I don't get that at all, he just wants more money and security. And why not?
He has a lot of leverage right now.

Surely he couldn't fight if he had equity in the company

He's dead right to try do what he is planning to do. He has serious leverage now and the timing is right to make a play for some longer term cash with less risk!

Hard to know. It would be a strange conflict because he's cant really do much damage to the company via due to his own desire to win. As a shareholder he more than likely would have to get more aligned with the company, i.e. town down some of the antics.
