How to set up a new Direct Debit

    Hi guys,

    I'm looking to set up a new Direct Debit. What details are required to set one up? Can this be done through Boards or my Online Banking, or do I need to go into a BOI branch?

    Hi Spring Chick, 

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards. 

    A Direct Debit is set up with the company which you wish to pay so we would advise you to contact the company directly to do this. 

    If you would like to set up a Standing Order to another current account payee you can set this up on 365 Online. You will need your payee's BIC and IBAN details to do this. Select the Manage Account options and Manage Standing Orders and then "Set up a Standing Order" and you will be guided through the steps.
