    Even with Pedro last performances?

Haven't seen his performances. I'm just going off the fact the Willian was probably their best player last year and was nailed on this season until his mother died.

They have also changed their formation fundamentally in that period and it suits Pedro's pace and attacking over Willians workrate. He was outstanding today.

    Pedro's to lose IMO.

So so tempted to shift Sanchez as it would allow me to bring in Alonso, Arsenal mid ( thinking Ramsey or Walcott) and Costa.

I'm thinking Sanchez will gradually move out left for Giroud.

Main concern is Arsenal have a real nice run and Costa will pick up a suspension soon.

Edit - feel like I have 45 minutes to decide due to impending price rises.

Lads, any advice? Know it's bit of a gamble doing transfers this early on an international break, but....

At the moment have front 8 of:

    A) Sanchez, Coutinho, Firmino, Allen, Gundogan, Aguero, Lukaku, Austin

    Very tempted to go
    B) Sanchez, Coutinho, Firmino, Hazard, Allen, Costa, Lukaku, Austin

    Or
    C) Sanchez, Hazard, Firmino, Allen, Gundogan, Aguero, Lukaku, Austin

B means (madness) transferring out Aguero, but so far Costa has been a match for him and gives me an extremely strong midfield

C would be transferring Coutinho to Hazard and leaves me enough itb to upgrade Lukaku to Costa if needed.

Any opinions or preferences, or should I just turn off the phone and leave things as they are?

Who would be the 2 players making way for Alonso and Costa?

    I should have said really.

Stones or Lovern in defence and Deeney up front.

I've gone cold on the idea simply because I feel too rushed and there are 2 weeks until the next game.

The rise on the 2 players I want will be .2 tonight and I'm sure even more before the next game. It will mean I can't buy them then though.

You have a real head buster here. I understand you considering selling Aguero simply due to the amount of options out there.

B was looking awesome until I seen Austin and not Aguero but still it does look awesome.

    C looks good too.

    Head buster.

If you can afford the .2 increase I'd hold off until tomorrow and see how tomorrow's matches go.
If not it's a bit of a gamble, Costa and Alonso definite a good upgrade but on the other side, Sanchez has been flying, have the same concern though that Giroud could impact on Sanchez returns.

Can't you swallow the £0.1m loss on Alonso.
Once he'll be back to his starting price he'll rise a bit slower and with the international break on, I'd say from Tuesday onwards there should not be a lot of activity on the transfer market.

I was actually tinkering with my team around your B option.
Personally, it would allow Sanchez Hazard Firmino KDB (Whelan) Aguero Costa Vokes.
Basically, Costa for Agüero and KDB instead of a double Chelsea/'Pool/Arsenal mid.

Despite that, now, tonight, I'd favour C. But if you have a little bit of flexibility regarding these moves (I mean if you don't currently have 0 ITB when doing them) I'd suggest to wait and swallow the price rises. Again I'd expect the transfer activity to ease during the break. The South American have a very tough break this time (particularly Argentina & Chile that are gonna play key games in order to qualify for WC18 and with little rest when back). So Sanchez & Agüero could be rested for next GW.
Costa will have to prove he can apply his Chelsea form to La Roja again (his last couple of games saw last year evil Costa back and Lopetegui did not enjoy it) so he'll be fired up for Spain games.

I was about to get trigger happy, but can't risk transferring in a player and have them getting injured over the break.

Over the next 2 game weeks
    I will likely go:

    Sanchez to Hazard

    Then
    Lukaku to Giroud
(I think Arsenal cover is essential, Everton have a horrid run after Swansea virtually until late January-I can always fit Bolasie into MF easily if needed.

Leaves me with a lot of scope budget wise. 3.3 ITB at today's prices so no rush on me with impending price changes.

and allows me to fit in a Chelsea defender such as Alonso or even Kurt Happy Zouma if he forces his way into the back 3 in the next few weeks.

This will be -4 if done over the next 2 game weeks or no hits over the next 3 game weeks.

Waters are calm at Shineon's lakehouse but I doubt they'll remain that way for long.

Can you get Haz and De Roon for one of Pool mid plus allen/gun?
Ah misread it That front 8 without Kun looks awesome. I sacrificed Coutinho last week. Good luck.

Could do, he's become a good option as cheap 5th midfielder

I'd be worried about Willian taking Pedro's place when fit and available. I think Willian is first choice.

As fhfc said I think with the formation change they need their front 3 to be able to score goals. This is something willian isn't good at. In there old 433 you had another attacking mid Oscar or Fab capable of chipping in with a goal and willians workrate on the right was more necessary as they also had that defensive disaster Ivan behind him. I'd still prefer hazard but I'm prepared to wait barring injury Pedro will start v boro and he should keep close enough to hazard points wise. Chelsea then have spurs and city after those games I'll have had the transfers to readjust my team to get hazard in. I'm looking at -8 to get him now so I think my best option is Pedro instead for free. Playing regularly Pedro is a 10 million mid due to his career stats. If he keeps his place the next few weeks I'll end up doing a Chelsea mid double up with hazard. If not it will be Pedro to hazard.

I suppose time will tell. I have Alonso and Hazard so my final Chelsea place will be going to Costa once the suspension is out of the way or from GW 15.

Pedro is not on my radar but I was throwing out a word of warning to the people rushing to buy Pedro. I think Willian will be playing in that position as soon as he's available. But I could be wrong.

I think the double up is an option too from GW14. Less of a lottery than the Liverpool mids possibly.

And could free the cash for perhaps Kane up front if needed.

If Pedro keeps his place my plan would be Sanchez hazard coutinho firmino Pedro and play 352. I think Liverpool mids are great value.

Yeah as I said in a previous post, the key change for Chelsea is Conte. He finally settled on his strong back 3 "basement" coupled with the double "washing-machine" of Kanté-Matic (that's how we'd nickname them in French 'cause they get the ball back in dangerous areas and turn them into good attacking plays thanks to their good passing technique, they "clean" them in a way :p) allows:
    - his wing backs to be very attacking making Alonso a great def option,
    - his front 3 to mainly focus on their attacking duties making all of them great FPL prospects.
If Pedro keeps his place my plan would be Sanchez hazard coutinho firmino Pedro and play 352. I think Liverpool mids are great value.
    Are you sure that's possible?
I just quickly tried it with Agüero Lukaku upfront and with only £31.3m spent in defense and I'd need a £2.9m 3rd striker and I think I have a decent team value...

I assume he's going for Austin as his Kun partner.

I'd be selling lukaku. Selling him after next gw.
