Some of the numbers there aren't too hectic are they? We have an extra .17 lambs to ewe weaned. Also why wouldn't they pick a farmer in the top 33% of farmers. His gross margin is less than 1in 3 sheep farmers.?

Was there, grass management walk mainly a very good day & very informative. With exception of lambs, numbers aren't comparitive as industry are 2015 & his 2016 so variable costs higher due to hard spring & dry summer. Not all farms the same with some tougher than others, this can't be shown in numbers alone.

Any farmer that opens their gates and provides their figures so honestly for benefit of others deserves praise in my book.

Be very easy to introduce belclare there and with his level of feeding/management That flock would be up around 2.2+ lambs/ewe in a couple years.....would you want it though, everything's a lot easier at 1.6 1.7.
