    Andrea B you're very warm indeed.
    There are 2 landmarks in the pic, you'd see a lot of that crowd taking selfies if you were closer, and tagging themselves at that location.as

    edit : actually I should have said 3 landmarks as you can also see a statue that is a more recent addition.

    Oh, I meant to link to this little article about the statue of Bishop Kee, "who welcomed visitors to the Southernmost Point, and helped popularize conch shell blowing". (He greeted visitors with a blow of the Conch)

    Turns out to be southwest end of Lagoon Drive at Honolulu Int'l Airport. Near the bend on the main runway system. Fred basically got it, so I'll pass to him.
