XP install corrupt etc....

i got this new PC a week ago.. bin trying to install an OS on it since i got it... im booting from an XP cd and when it gets about 3 minutes into the setup i get this error: "The file usbohci.sys is corrupted. Press a key to continue@" What the hell is goin on? coz im really pissed off now!

I trust that ur copy of XP is origional.

Discs tend to get scratched and thus tend to cause these types of errors.

What u could do is get another xp disk and do a repair and then coutinue with ur origional.
