I hope it ok to post here - posting on behalf of a friend!

      **Donation Appeal **

      Hi Guys,

A friend trying to do a donation appeal for two very worthy animal rescue centres one in Wicklow and one in Wexford. I dont think I am allowed to post the sites / details of Both rescue centres (against the charter)- but if anyone wants to know the name please PM me and ill send them back to you.

They both do amazing work, most of which goes unseen to the general public.... but for the dogs and animals lives they save it changes everything.

As you can imagine with the winter coming in many animal rescue centres are at the pin of their collars and are under tremendous pressure... with this in mind I am doing a donation drive to try and take a little bit of the pressure off this winter... if anyone has any of the following and would be willing to donate it would be hugely appreciated:

      Food (tinned or dried)
      Puppy Food (tinned or dried)
      Cat Food
      Toys - even soft toys
      Treats
wormers, dog shampoos, flea treatments, spot on etc (if anyone has leftovers)
      Disinfectant (animal safe)
      Blankets
      Plastic beds
      Towels
      Leads
      Collars
      Duvets (not pillows)

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Everything that is donated will go straight to the animals....

Collection point is Monday 17th of October from 6.30pm @ Shoreline in Greystones (left hand side of the car park when leaving the gym)

if this doesn't suit please PM me and ill ask my friedn to come and collect :pac:

      Thanks a million Guys

Do you accept short dated or past sell by? It might be worth checking with local pet stores to see what stock they have if you do.

Thanks so much, yes I'm sure they will accept burst bags of food / near sell by dates.. I know my mate contacted maxi zoo - they wont give anything and she is also trying Tesco's & Pedigree Ireland and other food providers - fingers crossed

Try the pet store in Newtownmountkennedy. Pet-Bliss. It's locally run rather than a chain. Can't guarantee you will get anything but certainly worth asking.

She emailed them this morning -thank you! I will also be contacting Whiskas Ireland, Red Mills, Lidl, Aldi, Supervalu - hopefully some one may have some food to donate!

In fairness her facebook appeal - people have been great, with blankets, towels etc which is excellent and they will be delighted - i know they would love some food and treats too! Fingers Crossed

Just wanted to say Pet Bliss is doing a wonderful promotion at the moment people can buy a blanket for a small amount and they will deliver directly to the rescue centre of your choice... just in case anyone is feeling generous...

Retro coffee table with a simple, modern feel that will enhance any living room.
      Dimensions:
      100×100×40 cm
There is some bubbling on the surface where I think I used too harsh a cleaner and some scratches but overall it's in good nick. Needs to go today.

Another shout out to Pet Bliss -a lady from the rescue called in to them over the weekend to chat about ideas and they donated 2 x large bags of dog food - fair play! :D

Thanks for feedback but maybe rather than directing posters ask the moderators to do so next time

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
