Forgot to cancel SO

Hi there, Just checking my a/c this morning and realised that I forgot to cancel a standing order I had set up to pay my landlord on the 10th of every month! Is there a way to recall the October payment or do I need to get in touch with the landlord directly? Many thanks.

Thank you for getting in contact with us and welcome to Boards.ie.

Unfortunately, unlike a direct debit, it is not possible to recall a Standing Order and it would be necessary to contact the recipient to request that they transfer the funds back to your account.
