Soccer in Cork

    Hi

    I've just moved to Cork, from the UK, to study at UCC. I'm looking to play this season, but I've no contacts or anything in the city so was hoping someone on here might know of a team looking for players.

    I went to the college team trials but was a bit injured/not good enough, so wasn't chosen, so I am hoping to find somewhere else to play regularly & competitively. I played at a reasonable standard back home but I'd be really grateful to find a team at any level at all, especially since I'm late for the start of the season. I'm ideally looking for an 11 a side team, but I'd be interested in playing 5 too.

    Also, back home I did a bit of refereeing as a weekend job, and I was wondering how much you'd earn here, especially doing a night at a 5 a side league?
