I like hennelly and all that but in fairness CLARKE has been having a massive season. Bringing on hennelly for long range frees as someone mentioned earlier is rubbish in my opinion. If they are not in COC's range then we go short and retain possession. The keeper coming up having a pop ala Cluxton is backwards. Want it to be five O clock one minute and the next minute want it to be over. This hanging around is doing my fecken nut in

For me Vaughan is the logical switch is there is a change to SOS at midfield. He has the legs and physicality to stay with MDcM box to box all afternoon.

tbh if he's not playing and Mayo win it, won't it be sweeter to know they won it without his playacting?

    Stolen from blog
Western State Bulldogs (underdogs, country boys)have just beaten Sydney Swans (city slickers, favourites) in the AFL grand final. Have lost multiple finals recently and the last time they won it was 1954!!

Good omen but despite the name Western Bulldogs are based in Melbourne so not quite Country boys.

They share the Etihad Stadium with Carlton, Essingdon, North Melbourne and St.Kilda.

They also hadn't played in a final since 1961.

St Kilda are our real Aussie brethern, they keep losing finals.

A play actor is a play actor. The same whatever way you want to look at it.

Feel sorry for Clarke but it COULD be a tactical winner. AOS probably playing out the field now.

Clarke has a great record as a shot stopper though

    Very, very harsh on Clarke.

Hennelly nowhere near Clarke when it comes to shot stopping or under the high ball. What you want in your keeper. Absolutely baffling.

I am well aware, I would be pro Clarke. But we haven't seen Hennelly since his bad kick against Galway which led to the goal and he is clearly doing something in training to convince them to make such a huge call.

Have seen Clarke up close and he communicates really well with the full back line, always lets them know where he is, etc. I think he gives them confidence and he's the better shot stopper all day. He's also a big man and has a presence in goals. Would have him over henelly any day. I'm willing to be open minded though and let hennelly prove himself again.

Hennellys kicks the odd free though does he not?

Could be a connor is carrying a knock so they want back up on the field

    Keegan already playing up.

    Refusing to sing national anthem.

    Media uproar!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 387 ✭✭Ascii

How is John small still on the field....should have been black carded in the first five mins and again for the first wild swing on COC ..
Imagine if Keegan scored Connolly and him off the pitch for 45 mins of the game :-)
Big game needed from Coen now.

good man Diarmuid, that will get his confidence up

So much heartbreak in Croke Park down the years now. It's never going to happen, is it?
