    Hello, Can you please explain how they are calculated?
    Is it €5 per quarter + x amount per transaction.
    I looked it up but it's not very clear.
    How much is it for using Debit card at point of sale & how much is it to use tap?
    Thanks

    Good Morning,

    Thanks for contacting us here on Boards.ie there is an overall maintenance fee €5 which is applied each quarter of the year. Additionally the charges for each transaction are as so;

    Automated / Self Service Transactions are 10c these are Standing orders Direct Debits 365 Phone & Online transactions Debit card transactions (Point of Sale & Online)

    Paper/Staff Assisted Transactions are 60c these are Cheques Lodgements/withdrawals at the counter using paper Lodgements/withdrawals at the counter using ATM/Debit Card

    ATM/LATM (Lodgement ATM) Transactions are 25c and these are Lodgements/withdrawals using ATM/ LATM (Lodgement ATM)

    Using your card at a point of sale is 10c and contactless payments are 1c each.

    We will not charge you quarterly account transaction fees if you maintain a minimum credit balance of €3,000 in your current account throughout the full fee quarter. Please note that you will still be charged the €5 quarterly maintenance fee if you do qualify for this offer.

    Please see this link here which is very helpful and breaks down all the charges mentioned above.; goo.gl/evp564

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

    Thanks,

    Evie
