Does anyone know exactly what time a welfare payment is credited to a bank account?

I would have thought it was midnight but apparently this is not always the case. It does not show up on a bank statement exactly what time the payment was made either.

    Any idea?
    Thanks.

Depends on what time your bank processes it's payments nightly. With ptsb it's usually around 4am. Before sepa it was usually before midnight the night before it was due.

Do s.w payments only go into your bank account when you've a part-time job? I was collecting in the post office until I got a part-time job recently, and it'll be going into my bank account from now on - does anyone know when it usually does? I asked in the office but the woman said she didn't know. Thank you

Depends on the bank and when they process transfers, I'm with ULster Bank and it's usually no later than nine thirty the evening before when I get lodgements into my account such as salary etc.
