Listened to the match on the radio, sounded like a brilliant game. Well done to them!

Can anybody tell me please - who was the 13 year old who played senior camogie for Carlow? And what year? It has to be a record,

Mary Coady not sure of the year but might be 1991 in a match against Louth

Not sure but I'm thinking it was much earlier than that. Maybe the 50s even. Are you sure?

Mary Coady first donned a Carlow adult jersey at the tender age of 13 and continues to do so given an outstanding performance in goal for Carlow in the recent All Ireland Junior A Final. Mary has won numerous county championship medals with her beloved St. Mullins including three junior championship medals. With her county she has won three Leinster Junior Championships, 1 All Ireland Junior “B” All Ireland in 2012, Máire Ní Chinnéide Cup and 1 National League Division 4 Medal.
Fair play to her if she is still playing county camogie after all that time:D

The clubs have been putting in so much hard work, it's great to see this payoff. Many of the clubs also brought bus loads to the final. It's a day they will remember and success breeds success!
