So here I was this evening waiting for a nice driver to let me turn right , and when I got the flash , this chap comes flying up the pavement and he definately wasn't gonna give me the right of way

Nor does he have to right?

It's about 30 minutes since I watched that video and that f*cking blue van is still doing my head in.

For those doing the sped up videos? (Compressing a long journey to a sped up clip)

How are ye doing to? I'm using a Nextbase 402G in 5 minute segments.

One from yesterday and two from today.

The first clip is slow to start, but I wanted to show him up a bit road positioning, braking unnecessarily, and not checking traffic around him.

The black golf was lost but that doesn't excuse his driving.
The Caa'van couriers guy was half asleep.
The fecker towing the two cars seen me and kept on driving .

The driver of the oncoming white truck who doesn't know what amber/red lights or yellow boxes are for is doing my head in.

I'd pass that reg along, that looked like a potential crash for cash.

Not very clear but this was a road rage incident today - the driver in front got out of her car and started shouting at driver behind .

I liked it better the second time, in slow-mo.

Which summer? That's some advanced technology in your dashcam if it is recording videos from next summer.

One from Friday morning on the M11 outside Arklow.
Bear in mind that the first car you see on the hard shoulder is an unmarked Avensis, with those lovely blue flashing lights hidden in the grill.
A young learneress tries to cut in without fully passing me, and when she does get past me and pulls in for some reason she hits the brakes.
She then stayed behind me until we nearly reached the Beehive pub, and then she pulled the same stunt again.

I peeled off into Rathnew, while she went on towards Dublin. Heaven help her when the traffic started to get heavy.

A dickhead in a Maserati tail gating me on the M50 & M1 on Saturday (which was a day of 'lovely' driving conditions), trying to undertake me and several others as well as general cnutish behaviour.

And for all his dickheadedness, he still went around the Lusk/Donabate roundabout behind me.

    Prat.

let him pass next time I'd say

Was about to say that myself.
Could have let him pass sooner.

Why did you not let him go...

But well done you beat him to Donabate.

I am all confused, as all is reverse here... Typically the left lane is the right one, but here the right lane is the right one, right?

Why should I move in to let some cnut go in front of me, just so I could be stuck behind someone driving like a dickhead who will potentially cause a crash. Did you not see from my front cam that I was behind other traffic?? I didn't have the overtaking all to myself in front of me!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,384 ✭✭✭✭AndyBoBandy

And do you think the car in front of me would have done the same? Look at my speedo, I could have easily gone a bit faster had the road in front of me been clear.

So your in a line of traffic doing 10-15 below the speed limit, do you pull in to let cars overtake you, only to get in behind them again??

    What a stupid comment.

Tell you what, tomorrow I'll upload the front & back videos side by side so you can all see the cars in front of me in the overtaking lane. Just to prove I'm not a lane hog.

In fairness, he was overtaking cars the whole time he was in the outside lane.

While also waiting for cars in front of me to pull in, so I could accelerate up to the speed limit.
