I have yet to have one revoked and have over 70 games from g2play. I am ware its a possibility tho.

One or two big known ones alright,OP said plenty of stories but im not seeing that many in fairness. Was wondering have i missed something.

Ive never had a key revoked either for about the same amount or more keys as yourself.

"Plenty" & "rife" may have been an over exageration but there is more than enough around to make me wary.

This is it though, its a gamble, but with good odds that you're very unlikely to actually ever lose out on any money. You pay €500 on 20 games that would normally have cost you €1000, you saved €500. If one of them keys gets revoked you lose out on the €25 you paid for that game; you still save €475. The only problem is if your steam account ever gets blocked completely, but I'd imagine that's highly, highly unlikely.

Cdkeys.com is one I use. Never had issues and did not heard anyone having any keys revoked.
They sell directly, nit like other sites mentioned, which are pretty much eBay off keys.

Dragon: A Game About a Dragon is 96% off and going for 19 cent.

It has graphics that look like children's drawings and seem like a cute game, plus it also has trading cards so you might break even or even profit a few cent.

I feel bad to see the game doing so bad. They picked a bad time to release the game

This is slightly OT as it only serves ipad / iphone users but Samorost 3 was released on the Appstore today for only €5, it is currently €20 on Steam.

Just putting it out there for anyone like myself who was waiting for the price to drop down before purchasing, now you have an alternative option.

There is a big shmup sale on Steam.

    http://store.steampowered.com/sale/shmup/

    What's good? Any particular recommendations?

I wouldn't class everything in that list as a shmup in the traditional sense but there's some excellent games there:

    DariusBurst CS
    Enter The Gungeon
    Sine Mora
    Crimson Clover World Ignition
    Mushi
    Assault Android Cactus
    Deathsmiles
    Downwell
    Geometry Wars 3

Gunstar Heroes is only a 6/10 game though. :P :P

Hyper Bounce Blast looks decent too.
