Going on holidays - do I need to inform BOI?

    I'm going on holidays in a few days. I don't have a credit card, but will obviously be using my debit card abroad. Do I need to notify BOI that my card will be used abroad?

    Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie. 

    You can provide travel notification on 365Online via the 'Service Desk'. Just click the option for 'Credit Card Travel Notification' and enter your travel details and your 16 Visa Debit Card number and our reps will update this information on your account. 

    Alternatively, please call Bank of Ireland Direct on 0818 365 365.
