Last week I started all over again with the 3rd attempt to write a novel, wrote half a chapter, then stalled since. Fortunately, I can swipe a few chapters from the first two novel attempts and incorporate them into the 3rd attempt, so I am not completely reinventing the wheel. :pac:

cool, it's good you can incorporate it into the 3rd attempt :) Don't give up

I like the new plot better than with the others, although the earlier works can form subplots, so all is not lost. I am working on a plot convergence theme between a young female university student and an old dying male professor, loaded with expanding opportunities for women in America, and obviously declining ones in the latter case. I am shifting between the new and old characters chapter-by-chapter until they meet, then something mystical happens (but no more about that now or it will be a spoiler).

You can use a flock of white swans. There are plenty of them about to look for the one stand-out Swannie, ha! No modesty in Swannie... :pac:
