    Just to explain this.

Jay was saying he was finding it hard to find 2 replacements for me and bony and only had 1 guy got to replace bony and would have had to mod kill me and he didn't want to upset the game structure, so I felt guilty leaving him in lurch after all his work and said I'll stay on and try and post when I can for game balance.

So whether I'm lynched or munched it's less of headache for himself I suppose.

    Thanks

Lot of catching up to do, why was Valeyard jumped on? I fear he may have tricked us into lynching Kylo if he is a wolf. In fact its a solid tactic, when you're under the gun, point the finger at one while trying to play it off as protecting a wolf, to get a villager lynched and himself saved, both by association.

Depending on how sure anyone was he was a wolf at all, I only skimmed the thread and aren't sure why he was being nailed

    Morning all.

So after last night's upset, I have no idea what to think.
Here are the facts as I see em.

Sulli is defo the priest. If she wasn't, then the seer or the apprentice would have come forward by now. I trust her.

The seer is still alive. Either the seer is a sleeper or hasn't caught a wolf yet, but they're still out there.

Someone is going to get munched at 10am. This is likely to be Sulli as she's the priest. However, if they're playing the long game they might leave her to cast doubt on her. In that case, I imagine me, Andy or Tig are on the chopping block. Either way, I repeat, Sulli is the priest so if she's not killed this morning, don't waste time trying to figure out if she's real or not.

There are 15 of us left. 4 are wolves. It's regrettable that Kylo wasn't a wolf. Despite that, I'm sticking with my analysis from yesterday. These are the people I trust as villagers: Tigger, Andy, Sulli, me and the new guy crosstownk. That leaves the following 10 as potential wolves: Dazzler, Persepoly, Valeyard, Flushdraw, golfer, El hombre, Digital Solitude, Poochie, Tritium and Ficheall.
Of the potentials, I think Ficheall and Tritium are also villagers, I'm just not certain.

The_Dazzler and Digital Solitude are the most suspicious to me right now. I can't decide if Vale is on our team or if he played me last night. Flushdraw and El Hombre (sorry dude!) are still potentially sleeping wolves. Poochie, Persepoly and golfer I'm not sure of, but I'd lean towards villagers.

We really really really need more info ahead of tonight's vote.

If we don't kill a wolf, they will win when there's only 4 villagers left. They are guaranteed to kill a villager every time as they know who they are. In turn 4 we lose two more people - one shortly and 1 tonight. That leaves us with 13 people. So far we've only lynched innocents and that's bad. However, all is not lost. Even if we lynch an innocent tonight and tomorrow, that still leaves 7 villagers against 4 wolves so don't lose hope yet.

Here's the best case scenario as I see it. We lynch a wolf tonight. Seer comes forward tomorrow before 10am with the name of another wolf. That's 2 down leaving 9 villagers and 2 wolves. I don't think the apprentice should come forward yet, but Sulli should let us know based on recent events if she still feels the apprentice is a wolf.

Am I sure that the trainee is a wolf?

    No.

I will report back closer to 10 when a consensus is reached on whether I am to out them.

I wouldn't out the trainee yet. If you're killed, the trainee is still a chance for us. If not, then someone else is killed, potentially the seer or the trainee. As long as both the trainee and the seer are active, I don't see the point in outing the trainee? If they are innocent it'll mess us up and make it easier for the wolves. If they're already a wolf, the only added advantage they'll have is knowing when the seer is dead. I think we have more to gain by keeping the trainee, unless the trainee starts acting wolfy, then that's your judgement call Sulli.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,994 ✭✭✭sullivlo

I agree. I think that there are enough logically minded individuals who should be able to figure out who is the trainee, and that the trainee is probably better off laying low for a while. If the seer has concrete information then it is their time to come forward.

Despite losing so many villagers, I am still confident of a village win. Simply because our odds are now better.

I say this knowing that I'm likely about to get eaten!

Last night was a bad result. I cant help feel we should have a wolf now, and im not sure they actually had to work very hard ro prevent it.

I had a long think last night about the game so far. I actually played through an awesome conspiracy theory to find if it worked. It nearly did, but only if the wolves are playing an awesome game and are so far ahead to be almost unbeatable anyway. Given that, for us not to already have lost sullivlo has to be the priest. That means the seer is in play also. Wolves now have a though choice, the seer could be the more dangerous player if they dont find them.

Last night was bad, but im still hopeful for the village

Good morning. Sorry if I upset the apple cart last night with my suspicions about The Priest. I am glad that there has been more discussion on it, I was worried we were blindly accepting it.
If the majority of villagers trust her, I am happy to conceed that I may have been a bit paranoid, but I did not see any questioning on the thread so had to voice my concerns. We will see at 10. Although beware they may not kill her to feed the paranoia, maybe they will kill me to make it look as if I was on to something..
A lot of this arose out of the fact that for some reason I am being suspected as a wolf and I know I am not, this tends to make you defensive!

To the comment above, of course the wolves are well ahead, they know each other so they know who the villagers are, they can't fail to kill one of us.

Poochie, discussion is good, keep questioning. Eventually something will seep out and well be on course. Your post was the conspiracy i was working rhrough last night- it occured to me at about the same time.

I agree, we do need to question everything. That's why you're also not cleared but I'm pretty sure you're a villager than a wolf. Poochie, sorry but what kind of a werewolf hunter would I be if I didn't question you to. I think you're also a villager though, or a very smart wolf. I ran the Sulli theory through myself even though I had been trusting her all day, especially as she wasn't on ten thread last night and didn't vote. I think we need to trust someone though, and I think she's real. We have not lost yet, we are still in an ok position. There's nothing we can do now til we see who's dead.

    Morning.

I know we all relatively happy to accept that Sullivlo is the priest although I'm sure we all have suspicions. Unfortunately, we have no concrete proof of anything relating to those still alive. The seer can provide this but at what point should the seer come forward - that depends on how many wolves the seer is aware of. I don't think the seer should come forward without at least 2 wolves to.

If/when the seer does come forward, how can we be sure it is indeed the real seer....?

I think it started with the silly reason of your username, the more I look into you the more I think you are indeed a villager, along with myself, geehead, tigger, suvillo, Boneyarsebogman(new guy crooswonk) and possibly Ficheall

The rest need to be looked at very closely dazz or flush would be my choice for lynch, I would keep an eye on the vale and see does he cause confusion around lynch time

Priest could survive to cause confusion don't let it

Anyway they are my thoughts if it is me to get slaughtered, leaving it last minute so they can't change votes based on these assumptions

    TURN 4 MORNING

    Roses are red
    Violets are blue
    Sully is dead
    And soon so will you

Sullivlo was slaughtered by the wolves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,863 ✭✭✭✭crosstownk

That's our only current source of facts gone for now. RIP Sullivlo.

Here's hoping our new priest is a villager. Tonights lynching better target a wolf and even if it does we won't have clue.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,701 ✭✭✭✭Tigger

Ok so now we lynch someone and don't even know if it's right
Or a priest comes forward and eats us
What do we do we need a clue the seer has to come forward there is no point saving them till after the game has ended

    Maths problem
We start with 20 players and a dead kersatt
We lose 2 players a round
In order for the wolves to win they need to have the same number of people as us
So assuming they win at 4-4 that's 8 players remaining 12 gone
That means only 5 villagers can be lynched incorrectly or we loose
6 incorrect lynchings + 6 subsequent wolf kills is death for us
For each correct lynching we can have an incorrect one after at the moment we have two incorrect so this is a crucial vote which we must either get right or learn enough from to get the next one right

    We need concrete info

RIP sullivlo, thanks for fighting the good fight.

For the wolves out there. Well done on a bad move, you took the easy, sloppy option. Its the seer you should have been worried about. All youve done is made this easier for us. And were coming for you....

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I am I correct in assuming that the witness has not had a 'hit' yet.

This may have been covered but I speed read some posts prior to assuming boneyarsedbogmans role.

Flea was the witness and managed to get himself and another villager killed.

How many checks has the seer done now 4?
How many a round do we lose 2 and we gain a check
If the seer has checked they should say so in their posts but all I see is people posting lists of loads of people that is too many to be a seer
We need the seer to say I have checked these 4 people they are all wolves

Way i see it sullivlo was good, andy, crosstown me mahama. No one else im particularly comfortable with but there are a few posters who dont look right. Daz is still my number one suspect though and a few sleepers and quasi sleepers. Digi, im looking at you

Sullivlo was clean, that means the wolves are playing straight to now, no sacrifice to keep the mask on no gambits

We need the villagers to decide when the seer exposes themselves. Personally id like to give them one more shot
