    Whatever about the kid's recent place of residence and entitlement to any award - the examiner, presumably a teacher, should revisit the English language instruction manual if they consider the opposite of "Original" is "Artificial".

    Because the US Presidents use it in their campaigns to appeal to the many "Irish American" voters.

    I think they're splicing together two completely separate Simpsons stories to come up with a "funny" new story.

    Some work, more don't, but I think that's all there is to it really.
