hi when you make a lodgement to your current account via an atm machine how long before it becomes available to use

Hi mocsoc,

Thanks for contacting us on Boards.

When you lodge cash to your account at a lodgement machine, this will be available to use immediately however it may not appear online until the following working day.
When you lodge a cheque to your account at a lodgement machine, this will still have the clearing time frame - for a Bank of Ireland cheque this is three working days and up to five working days for a non Bank of Ireland domestic cheque.
