I was joking! I was ecstatic for their divers

No mention of our incredible rowers. We have 5 in 2 boats including 2 brothers and a 39 year old mother of 3.

Rowing is also one of our decent medal chances. Give them a cheer.

    Fūcking told yiz!!

Incredible stuff. All those early mornings before school on the Ilen river, weeks away across the world at regattas and living the college life while off the beer.

Hardworking working athletes, easy going Skibbereen lads.

    Incredible!

Yeah me too. And I was really pleased for Kath Grainger who won a silver yesterday. She's basically there version of Sinead Lynch, has been around for ages (although she has had more success). Good on them.

What's the multi coloured flip flop they give the medalists?

Sinead Lynch is a bit of a milf!

I'd say they're dying to get back to the village to hop into an ice bath, they look absolutely exhausted.

Two great lads, beaming with pride here for them both.

Sinead Lynch is a bit of a milf!

They said earlier that she's married to Sam Lynch, which I didn't realise. He's a former Irish Olympic rower, so mind your tongue or he'll batter you with an oar :pac:

What a bunch of lads, confident without being arrogant.

    Dear Ireland,

    You're welcome.

    Love,
    Cork, like.

Gutted for Sinead and Claire. Great run but they wanted a medal too.

“We’re still trying to come to terms with it. We wanted to win gold medal but to come away with the silver, we’re just so happy,” said Paul afterwards.

You pulled like dogs? “We did yeah. We are a little bit disappointed we didn’t come away with the gold medal. We’re afraid to go home, Mick Conlan said he’d box the head off us if we didn’t win gold!”
