Strange one caught my eye the last couple of days, it's hanging around with a gang of sparrows eating seeds at the bird table, not a great photo as she is really bright all over in flight.

Funnily enough I also had a leucistic house sparrow come to the feeders today! (though it has so far eluded my attempts to get a decent pic!)

It's fairly common in newly fledged House Sparrows. Needless to say, it's not so common among adults for obvious reasons.

heh, I saw a very large crow with a few white tail feathers in my back garden this morning. I had thrown out a few stale scones for the birds, and closed the sliding glass door. My year-old kitten sat "talking" to them for several minutes, and then I heard him hiss. The big crow had literally picked up its piece of scone, dropped it close to the door, and was cheekily eating it not a whole metre in front of the window where the kitten sat, so I got a really good look while I made my tea. The corvids around here act like they think they're auditioning for Game of Thrones.

Aw, hopefully she'll live a bit longer. We had an albino pheasant which managed to survive for two years, there was also a fully white crow that lived for longer but I guess the hawk wouldn't be an issue for him!

Fairly common i guess there was a family of white sparrows around an estate in balbriggan for a long time. Strange seeing a snow white sparrow
