Is that for some of the folks who have just done their PCA?

Hello everyone, does anyone know is it still possible to get your merit number if you phone up? Heard this was the case for previous campaigns?

I don't think so. Think you could do that many moons ago but haven't heard of it being done recently.

Still might be worth a call though :D

If you go to your email's search "PSNI" should bring up the UID from IST test invitations. it brought it up for me as I had applied for the 1405 campaign but due to change in circumstances was unable to attend the IST.

Oooo so is that it confirmed then from a good source? That no one else from 1405 will get a phone call so next intake will be the begining of the 1509ers?

From a source in GV! They have no idea when they will start phone calls for the 1509 campaign but as far as they are concerned the squad in yesterday is the last of 1405

Good for the 1509 but I'm sure a lot of the 1405 will be disappointed to read that.

Wonder what the AC scores of those left in limbo for 1405 was? Still worried that mine at 55-60 for 1509 will be too low! And recruitment starts again next month so heads up and we go again.

the hardest bit is finding out on boards.ie that your dream role is possibly gone and doubt I have it in me to try again!!! Getting to an age where need get on with life, not keep putting it on hold...told twice we wouldn't be progressing early on, then campaign just took off......Knowing what i know now, id have preferred not to have gone through the remaining stages, as only hyped expectations

@timetravel the pass rate through the AC was 60.....

Sorry I meant what score got through to GV. Keep the head up lots of us have done this lots of times it will be up again soon. Don't give up

The pass rate was different for 1405 than it is for 1509. 61ish were the last to go through and the pass was 60.

Just to clarify one thing - check your source, no squad started yesterday! Not saying they are wrong on other details as I have genuinely no idea but the new squad didn't start this week

Hello Everyone! I'm from the 1509 campaign and sent my vetting off about 2/3 weeks ago now. Does anyone have any rough idea as to how long until I hear if I passed it or get dates for medical PCA etc..? Anticipation is killing me - we recently just completed our online learning

I received my PCA invite during my online learning. It gave about 4 weeks notice. Then another 4 weeks until medical! Hope this helps

I know you get your online learning to do while your waiting to do your PCA, I had mine running 2 weeks before my actual PCA date, also if you pass the PCA then you usually get a medical date within a week for around 3-4 weeks time. then results from medical is within a week. Online learning just has a time limit to be completed. you have plenty of time to do it, but I got it done in 3 days as I wanted to ensure it was fully completed and also incase I forgot by the time limit and then would of been automatically excluded from the campaign.

Hope this helps.. I have passed my medical near 3 weeks now tomarrow and this wait is by far the worst, just always making sure my phone isn't on silent and with me at all time haha.

What happens if you miss the call? I'm assuming they leave a message or call back?

I believe they leave a discreet voicemail. Failing that they email you and ask you to call them.
