Remittance Information

    Hi There 

    When doing a transfer online, I use the Remittance field for notes and reference.

    I thought this would show up on my statement or on the account receiving the money. Is this the case or is there an alternative way to find this information?

    Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie. 

    When you enter details under the "remittance Information' section, this information will be made available to the Payee only. When you are adding the payee, you'll be asked to provide a reference and description. The 'reference' will appear on the payees statement and the 'description' will appear on your account in the 'Manage Payees' section, to help you better identify the payees.
