If only Assad would step aside and let Saudi Arabia compete with the Iran oil/gas project by building a US/Saudi backed line through it's country.

All they want to do is make a few billion is that so wrong? :(

Unverified by the Americans does not mean that it is unverified. It just means that America is playing for time and dragging the issue out to lessen the impact. They do this all the time. Even when they bombed the Medisan Frontier hospital in Afghanistan.

There are reports from multiple parties in Syria that support the accounts that more than 200 people have been killed.

    Unverified means just that ,

As for the hospital In Afghanistan it was admitted to quite quickly and apologies issued but don't let amateur dramatics get in the way

    How much is quite quickly.
    A few weeks?

Its a bit early in the thread for conspiracy theories and incidentally Saudi is part of the coalition that is bombing ISIS.
    Please remain on topic.

Less than 72 hours I remember it well we had several threads full of faux outrage about a drone strike and smart cruise missles when I believe I said within a few hours what aircraft was used and not cruise missles or drones ,

    But hey

None of those things have happened.

Actually you're right, I've re-read this article, it doesn't confirm a damn thing, it's a collection of unsubstantiated allegations and supposition. The fact that is relies on the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a source which would be normally dismissed as one man working from an attic in Coventry were this a Russian strike, is particularly indicative. It might be best to wait for some verifiable information to come out first.

It sad obviously that they were killed but unlike terrorism where theres a deliberate and intentional desire to murder innocent people in a peaceful city this is a warzone with probably the most sadistic and inhuman group of animals to come out of the crazy east in the last few decades in it. One of the hardest things about it is making sure you actually get the right targets and it could of being a case of incorrect intelligence or changing conditions on the ground. Darwin Award State animals were also fighting in the area as well which compounds the problem.

As sad as it is tho things like this are inevitable. These arent a legitimate country or even reasonable people that are being fought but nihilistic animals that have abandoned all decent human values and degenerated into excesses of rape, murder, mutilation, slavery and the worst traits that could put a demon to shame all in the name of their imaginary friend. The only thing that can be done is to put them down and things like this will continue until it comes to an end one way or another.

Unfortunately, with air strikes, civilian casualties will happen. The tragedy of war is the innocent people with the misfortune of being born in the wrong place at the wrong time suffering for the ideals of the leaders (or factions). Hell, Ireland was struck a few times by German planes aiming for Britain and missing.

Doesn't make it okay, 85 innocent people are dead, entire families wiped out. Just..sadly inevitable.

It's a war crime. That's what it is. The rules state that it is a war crime if you fire with even the remotest possibility that there might be civilians in the area where you are firing. It's that unambiguous. Now if you fire a shell at a position where you are 100% certain there are no civvies but something happens (cannon malfunction or serious cross wind) to cause the shell to land in a different area and it kills a civilian(s) then that is a tragic mistake.
Killing 85 in a fuckin' airstrike is not an unavoidable accident. You would need to shoot a goddamn hellfire missile into a market place or football stadium or wedding celebration for that to happen or drop a 2 ton bomb on a building without having bothered your bollocks to check with ground intelligence who's in the actual fucking building.l That is the war crime part.

I don't believe they were aiming for Britain. They mistook the North Strand in Dublin for Belfast.

This feigned concern followed by a flippant attitude is very dangerous. The terrorists who attack us here in Europe and over in America believe that the front lines are here and that these are theaters of war as well..

Wonder how people on the ground knew the supposed aircraft came specifically from Incirlik Air Base in Turkey , especially as what recently happened and currently happening in Turkey

The fact of your topic is that these """""accidents""""" are happening all the time.
The attachment is why. It's as simple as money.

There's billions and billions at stake. And they could go into the hands of the "right" handful of people or the "wrong" handful.

People are being blown apart because rich people aren't rich enough. It's that callously simple I'm afraid.

If they're American, that's the most likely place for them to have come from.

    It's all unverified ,

    It was a convoy
    It was a few buildings
    It was a large school
56 dead ,85 dead ,200 dead all unverified

Among the dead were about 44 children, 17 women and eight prisoners, the Observatory said.

"The US central command has confirmed to Al Jazeera that it was conducting air strikes in the area and says it needs to investigate allegations of whether civilians were injured or killed in this incident," Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan, reporting from Washington, said.

Fúcking hell, you are some kind of special hypocrite. How many posts have you on here criticizing Russian airstrikes..... yet here you are literally jumping through hoops to justify the killing of 85 people, including children. Shameful.

Nobody once justified it, even if it happened.

Shameful comprehension skills in this thread. Shameful.

The reports are all unverified as yet. I'm working off the assumption that it's true, but it may well be a hoax, or a politically motivated claim. Relax like.

I used to wonder what the fastest thing in the world was, now I know it's a right-winger jumping to the defence of a coalition bomb. Morals not long gettin' chucked out the window in that scenario heh?

Even the express are running with the story, yet some posters are behaving as it has never happened until Uncle Sam tells them it did.

Oh give it a rest. I'm what any right-winger would call a liberal pinko and it's plain to see this airstrike is unverified, although it does sound credible.

Also, being liberal doesn't mean one abandons one's own critical faculties. You have people here who are beside themselves when it's pointed-out that this airstrike is different in character to an act of terrorism like Nice.

It's at times like this you get a glimpse into right-wingers' frustrations with left-liberal discourse online , because sometimes people really are blinded by their ideological positions, and they really do act the clown.

If you tryna be smart it aint working. You're not capable of critical thinking.

    That is a stock image.

Does the article claim that it is from Manbij?
