Ronaldo has played in a euro final before, cup finals, champions league finals. The bloke is doing alright for himself as a footballer.

There is a difference in playing in a final and Winning one

And for the pride of your country as opposed to a club

    How would you feel?

Doing quit well?? Money doesn't buy you everything

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when Ron Atkinson first saw that "Let Them Drink Beer" advert.

The ironic thing about big Ron's rant is that he aimed it at a great pro in Desailly.

Corporate area completely empty for the start of the 2nd half, very embarrassing.

I said I was dissapointed Ronaldo went off. I want Portugal to win and would like to see him win the Euros for the career he has had. It's terrible he was in tears leaving the pitch as it means so much to him. I just felt that he could have walked off the pitch as he went back on and ran around for a few minutes. In most other sports the player would just walk off but that's the way football is I suppose. I have nothing to be bitter about with regard Ronaldo he is a joy to watch.

    Fair enough

It really has petered out since CR7s injury

Think Portugal have looked better since he went off. Might be a case of less pressure on some of the players to seek Ronaldo in every attack. Not sure if I buy in to that but it's been mentioned before.

I am not talking about money. I am talking about what he has won already in football. It's pretty impressive.

If you watched or read anything on Ronaldo you will see he is a very proud Portugese.

I'll assume you haven't since you're talking through your hoop.

Portugal seem to be playing more as a team without you know who.

Looks like they left the floodlights on overnight in the empty stadium last night - that's why there's so many moths about the place.

That sniper seems to turn up at every match he's in.

I know. But it would be more interesting game with a player of his calibre in it.

Nani loses the ball a lot. Very slow to pick a pass.

when you're as good as Payet you don't need to go down to win games.
