I agree with you about the Vote to Evict, it gives a true reflection of what the voting public think and want ...........

    That's absolutely not true.

There has been uproar over the years when very popular housemates have gone because of it being VTE. That was why they initially changed it when it moved to Channel 5. Reason being: if a very notorious housemate is up against two deadwood housemates, the notorious housemate will always go as nobody will bother their arse spending money to evict the deadwood housemates. Some weeks it's neither here nor there and so it doesn't really matter, but in the long run, VTE is a recipe for disaster. All depends on housemate nominations. Imagine for example if Hughie and Alex were up. Be a landslide for Hughie to get the boot. VTS though and Alex would go for sure. So far this year it has pleased people as the housemates that have left have't been too well liked but when a housemate is very poplar AS WELL as being very hated (like Marc last year) it's a nightmare as they invariably will get the boot despite the fact that they have huge public support and following.

I agree with the whole BB should be unknowns by the way and too hate this new trend of filling the place with Zlisters.

I'm a traditionalist purist, Vote to Evict is how it all started and I'm happy that BB has decided to return to form ......... I would have Voted to Evict Marco and Natalie so I was delighted to see them go .......... Vote to Save has kept many a HM in that I personally wanted to see go on Eviction Night.

Also, I like this year's theme with the Z-Listers and the conflicted "couples" ......... it puts a new spin on things, a little change here & there now & again is a good thing. :)

Ah Jaysus, Alex is a mate of Scotty T's? Now I like him even less.

Vicky Pattison, appearently helps her present a show she is in called Judge Geordie and is her 'best friend'

When Luke Marsden described him as boring on BOTS she got into a silly Twitter fight defending Alex...:D

I've seen online people saying the Zebra deserves to win more than Alex :D...I really struggle to understand what he says...the fact he is a TV presenter is hilarious!

He never said much on Judge Geordie either, he was more of a sounding-board/sidekick to Vicky.

I think the gift that BB has brought us this year, is the addition of "trouble riserrrrrs" to our vocab. We are now calling each other trouble riserrrrs all the time at home and the cat is a story carrier.

Where are they all getting the catsuit things from? Do boohoo.com deliver to them each week?

Thank the lord I wasnt the only one to find Bernardo a bit on the BOBFOC side of things.

Hoping that Chelsea goes this evening.

Everyone in this thread are "trouble riserrrrs" :D

    What is BOBFOC?

AFAIK the reason for the vote to evict on normal BB is to draw the audience on Fridays nights, it's the biggest ratings show of the week. They know with a vote to evict a big personality will go over a boring one, so bigger audience. It's all about the figures for advertising, that's where the real money is for them. Personally I rather a vote to save, it gets rid of the deadwood early and leaves the big characters in for longer.

Either Chelsea or Charlie will go tonight and that's because it's Vote to Evict, if it were Vote to Save then Jason would be in real danger of going ......... I'd vote for Charlie to go but I'd be happy enough for Chelsea to go, if Jason went I'd be disappointed so that's one of the reasons why I prefer Vote to Evict.

    Same here.

He was on BBBOTS last night, which was the first time I got a look at him really. Didn't get much of a look during the time he was with Laura

I really wondered at all the praise and adoration he was getting from Rylan and the audience, and in the house.

I would prefer if Chelsea was evicted.

Then we could coax out of Jason and Charlie through one almighty row what really happened because there is some underlying unmentionable that has not been talked of by either of them.

Luke on BBBOTS has a lot of the housemates voices and accents absolutely perfect.
He was doing an impression of Charlie and Jason this week. Priceless!

That'll probably be all they can show him on his best bits when he comes out.

That task during the week would've been far better had they used the prize money instead

Please tell me he starts talking out of it, it might be more coherent and interesting than what comes out of his mouth:D

Now this is my dilemma, Charlie is being a manipulative, passive aggressive cow, I get that. Jason acts the simpleton, "I don't know how to deal with this" I'm not good at this reading people stuff" but yet was absolutely spot on when he knew certain people had nominated him, "he could see it in their eyes"
That to me says he is far more clever than he makes out and I don't like that, I like to see all facets of your character, good and bad, none of us is perfect. That's why I like charlie more, yes she's been a pain in the neck, but it's out there and we can see it. Jason is a deep well who we haven't really got to know well and because of that I don't trust him. Not saying he's not a decent bloke, I just don't know him and that worries me.

Edit, it doesn't worry me that much, like I don't lie awake thinking about it lol

I would tend to agree with you. As much as I want Charlie to go, she has provided more "entertainment" (and I use that word loosely) than Jason. Jason hasn't opened up at all, no idea what type of person he is.

If Alex wins, it will be the worst, most boring winner of BB in history. I know we moaned about Scotty T winning but at least he provided a bit of entertainment and a showmance. Alex has literally done NOTHING!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,980 ✭✭✭wyrn

Leave my man Jason alone. I don't care that he's moody and boring :p

If Alex walked, would anyone notice? That zebra has more presence than him.
EDIT: Found Alex's best bit :D

Oh yes Monife I agree re Alex. I was so peed of last year when boring chloe won, I nearly put my foot through the telly. I'd have rather danny won than her at least he contributed and I hated him. I really despair of the GBP sometimes.
