What are you riding on roads like those?

Rented a Focus Cayo with Schwalbe Lugano 25's. Guy in the shop had complete faith in them and I didn't have a single problem on any of the bianche sections I rode.

Nicest and most welcome coffee at the second stop on l'Eroica Limburg. An original 1960's espresso machine. Apparently the first model to have a steamer electrically powered.

A few old school Faema jerseys would have added to it!

Cool thanks! I did think that at first but the road somehow looks more narrow than I think of it being along there. For some reason I also thought there were road markings along there - I must have been wrong!:o

Did a little walking to get the photo, so not sure if that breaks the rules here.... but I did cycle 90% of the way u[p to the Fairy Castle up at 3 Rock yesterday.

Unbelievably clear day - could see clearly from Lambay Island to the Sugar loaf.

Walking gets a pass, failure to embed the images is a sacking offence. :D

Two extra clicks you made me do! The humanity!

I did embed the images but they came up enormous - which I think is a far worse offence. Haven't quite figured out how/why it happens yet.

The resolution is too big - typically this can be reduced either before the picture is taken or afterwards. An old post of mine explains how to embed the pictures (link):
    • Look for "Additional Options" in the lower part of the screen when posting a reply/new message
    • The second option is called "Attach Files": click on the button "Manage Attachments"
    • A popup appears. The first option here is "Upload File from your Computer". Click on the Browse button to locate your picture.
    • Now click "Upload"
    • When complete - in the popup - you will see your file under "Current Attachments"
    • Here is the tricky bit: right click your file and select "Copy Link Location"
    • Close the popup.
    • Amongst the options in the main Reply/Post Message window, you will see an icon that looks like a postcard with images of mountains against a yellow background.
    • Click this and in response to the prompt: "Please Enter the URL of your image", PASTE the Link Location you saved in the above step.
    • That's it!
When posting images, try to restrict the width to about 1000 pixels wide.

Any bigger and the horizontal scrolling required gets a bit annoying. My phone takes pictures 5312 pixels wide - about 5 screen widths on my work PC eek.png
Most phones can reduce the image size - either before or after the picture is taken.

The above is for Windows using Firefox, your setup may be different but the approach should be very similar.

If you use an image hosting site like tinypic.com you have the option of resizing as you upload. I normally opt for 800x600. It then generates an IMG code for Forums/Message Boards that you can copy and paste here.
