Using account abroad

    Hello,

    I was wondering how do I notify Bank of Ireland online about using my account abroad.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.

    It's advisable to let us know if you will be using your Visa Debit card abroad and also if you have a Credit Card with us.

    To advise of your travel plans, you can log in via BOI365 Online and use our Online Service Desk facility. Within this option, you will see a drop down menu, select the option 'Credit Card Travel Notification' to give notice on the credit card. For the Visa Debit, please select the last option' Ask A Question and submit the travel plans here.  

    If you could give us the dates and locations you may be using your cards abroad, a colleague will reply back advising notice received and recorded on your account.
