    Hairy mollies
I think that's because nowadays, we don't tend to hang out in the same places as hairy mollies. I know that personally, I'm not as close to the ground as I used to be.

[Somebody who worked with me for years used always referred to his wife as 'The Hairy Molly'. Once, they were out at the races or something similar when they met the managing director of the place we work. Even then, he introduced his wife as 'The Hairy Molly'. :D )

Football jerseys that weren't just Nike Template A in Red, Adidas Template B in Yellow.

Liverpool had some mad ones in the 90s, that green and white box one is a classic.

Cotton rugby jerseys, though this is a good thing, the jersey would get stretched from lads hanging off it trying to tackle you so by the end of the season it would look like a gúna deasa.

Drivers behind politely waiting as two cars come to a stop on a country road to have a chat.

This is still a regular occurrence where I live.
Now if it's a choice between city traffic stuck nose to tail or 2 lads stopping to gossip about the neighbours the odd time, I will happily go with the rural option.

    Black football boots

I remember the first time I say a footballer wearing white boots. It was the 1994 (or 1995) Champions League Final AC Milan player wearing them. Johnny Giles thought he was hilarious suggesting to Bill that the player (who was rubbish btw) had just made his First Communion

You cans till buy Lolo balls, saw them in Debenhams yesterday. I got one for my 8th birthday, in 1987. When you got bored you could take the ball out and play football with it, made for an interesting game.
