My fella built an adoption pen very easily with some wood we had left over from building pens, got the design off google. We had one ewe who lost a lamb and was pining hard so we bought in a lamb for her, took the guts of 10 days - 2 weeks but she took to him, also had one ewe that lambed, then left her first born and lambed the second and wouldn't let the first near her again, but it worked a charm.
