Person Of Interest - serious step up in quality for an already great show
Suits - finally had the guts to sort the Mike situation
Game Of Thrines - Finally going somewhere this season
The Blacklist - great twists. Really came into its own this year

Person of Interest - As good as S4 was, there wasn't a dud in this season.

Supernatural - This is my choice if I only had one. Best season in years.

Game of Thrones - Freed from the books, the pace has picked up and made the show more exciting.

House of Cards - Okay, not an amazing season but definitely a step up from the previous.

Tyrant - A really strong second season that handled topics most networks won't touch.

Supernatural (The CW) - Season 11 was it's strongest year since Season 5
iZombie (The CW) - Season 2 really upped the game even further by making better use of recurring characters, and really nailing the overall arc.
Doctor Who (BBC) - After a hit and miss first season for Capaldi, his second series in the TARDIS was almost perfect.
