    Hi, could someone help clear something up for me?

    I've worked as an adjunct lecturer for 5 years in a public university. I sign a new contract every year.

    I'm quitting now for another civil/public service job at EO level.

    However, am I counted as a new entrant because I haven't had a permanent contract? Or can I negotiate for a higher salary?
