When it comes to Updates do you have to search in your app store or does it automatically update?

Seems to differ between devices. With the PS3 app I get a message saying there's an update. With Android apps there are different settings where you can have apps update automaticallythrough the Google Play thingymajig

Haven't really followed WWE since the early 2000's but I'm going to give the free month a bash. Re-live the old PPVs for nostalgia reasons, sounds like fun :)

Give the NXT Takeover events a look if you want something modern to watch too, it's more focused on the wrestling than the storylines and edginess of the Attitude Era, but you may enjoy them. Especially the last one, Takeover Dallas.

Almost all of the Monday Night Raws from 1993-2005 are on the Network. Smackdown 1999-2003 is up and both shows from 2012~ are there.

    Enjoy!

I'm deeply enthralled with the HHH/Mick Foley rivalry (from December 99 to March 00) at the moment.

Since the Royal Rumble 2000 was the first ever wrestling event I ever saw as a child, I missed out on the storyline leading up to and succeeding it. My god, it is a hell of a lot more amazing than the already-good things I've read/heard about it.

I've seen No Way Out before and I've seen Wrestlemania 2000 before, but the weekly episodes of Raw/Smackdown that surrounded them - I never got to see. This is by far my favourite rivalry ever, and the Street Fight is still my favourite WWF Title match.

Currently watching the Raw after the Royal Rumble 2000.

The transformation of Mankind into Cactus was done excellently. Also, the intro video package to NoWayOut 2000 is one of my favourites.
“It will be soon, but not tonight (I’m not quite ready!). Though my nights are sleepless, I still dream. I’ve won and lost many things in my career (championships, blood). But I’ve never main evented Wrestlemania. This is my chance (my last chance!). In my way, there is a man and that man has my gold (my ticket to Wrestlemania). He may be the game, he may be the champion, he may be the best in the industry today (I should know). But he is no Cactus Jack (and he never will be!). 15 years I’ve been chasing this dream. Dozens of fractures. Hundreds of stitches. Countless nights I’ve bled. You might say ‘this is no dream, this is a nightmare!” And that may be so. But it’s my nightmare. And I decide when I wake up!”

I watched Madusas speech at the 2015 hall of fame and for some reason I'm watching the warrior award for connor. It appears i've developed hay fever out of nowhere.

Nitro episodes from 2000 have been added.

JUst watching superstars from today on the network and even a groggy seth rollins cuts a better promo than roman. Seth rollins just comes across as a better character overall.

I will try to watch every single episode of Nitro from 2000.

Ive resumed watching raw from late 1999 this fine morning and okay the presentation is a bit rougher then the current day product. But in saying that the whole product had a feel of anything could happen. It's weird but also nice to see some unpredictability.

    Chromecast
We’ve heard you asking and we’re listening! Chromecast support will be coming to the WWE Mobile App, so stay tuned for specific release dates and details.

Isn't this what they've been saying for the last two years? :-/

That's great news for Chromecast. I gotta ask though, is there any hope for not having low resolution garbage streams on the WWE app on mobile and tablets? It's unwatchable to me! (and 'forced' to watch on the PS3/PC)

Yeh I have a Samsung 10" tablet and the Network looks garbage. I can get HD on YouTube like.

Does anybody know what would be the exact time (month even) WCW fell off a cliff? My best guess would be late '99 or early 2000? Was originally planning on watching Raw and Nitro every week throughout the MNW but that takes too much time that I don't have and want to get to the really bad stuff :pac:

Financially WCW fell off a cliff in April 99; most people count the decline at the fingerpoke of Doom, first Nitro of 99. Russo and Ferrara were hired in Oct 99 so you've got that!

Got a new samsung blu ray player and the network is awful on it like my PS3.

Ridiculous that its basically unplayable on certain devices.

Thank you for not giving spoilers. :D That's the reason I couldn't just google. Sounds like I'll be starting at the September PPV. Crazy how fast the company went down.

Ah sh*t dude I could've/should've said - I have a blu-ray player and the menu text on the Network app is garbage and tiny and unreadable.

I now pretty much can't watch the Network on my Playstation 3 because of the fan making so much noise. And the issues with the app crashing, videos stop playing.

Yup. Starrcade 1999 had a few decent matches but the next month's show Souled Out in Jan 2000 was totally bonkers and all over the shop - screw-ups and botches, so many changes to the card due to injuries and certain bigwigs just not being arsed to show up. I'd start with these two shows. WCW was a complete sh*tshow by Spring 2000.

To be honest (and I know this will take time) but I would start from 98 onwards to get the true descent of it all. Considering you're coming off of Starcade 97, the absolute peak of the promotion, it's rather fascinating how quickly things start falling apart in the upper mid card/main event scene.

This way you'll truly get a sense of how huge it was for a time and just how odd some of the booking becomes. Plus you'll still get some good stuff like Jericho rising to prominence, Goldberg's rookie year, Chavo/Eddie and DDP/Raven to the awful like the nWo split and spring break nitros. Then truly descending into madness as bischoff loses more and more control in the months leading up to Russo being hired.

The other day I was checking the Opera TV Store on my smart tv and realized WWE Network was not on it. That's kind of disappointing. If I get the Network in the future it would be on laptop and phone only.

Why not invest in a HDMI cable to connect your laptop to your tv? Or buy a chromecast and cast it from your laptop.

Started watching from 2000...it just seems that they were trying to do too much at once...Steiner should have been pushed long before it happened..
