God, Merciful Father, in your Son, Jesus Christ, you have revealed your love and poured it out upon us in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter.

Please pray that my brother who has worked so hard will get he results that will make him happy and proud. I also want to praise God, Jesus, our Mother Mary, St. Joseph and all the saints who have comforted me and helped him, including St Therese, St Anthony, St Jude, St Joseph of Cupertino, St Padre Pio and St Teresa of Calcutta. Thank you for bringing me closer to Jesus again.

Miracle prayer

Dear Heart of Jesus, in the past I have asked many favours, this time I ask you this special one (mention favour), take it Dear Heart of Jesus and place it within your heart where your Father see it. Then in his merciful eyes it will become your own favour not mine. Amen.

While I sincerely hope you get the response you are seeking from your prayer, there is no special "formula" for a prayer (other than the Lord's prayer) and no prayer is ever guaranteed "not to fail". God knows what we need and provides it in his mercy. Yes, God answers prayers but the answer is not always Yes.

Its also worth pointing out that this is a discussion forum, not the personal ads of the local paper. Maybe we should have a discussion about the power of prayer?

At this time of year it's worth remembering those who have suffered bereavement of family members during the year and for who Christmas will not be a happy time.

Please please pray for me. I am being harassed by someone who will not leave me alone. It's affecting both my mental and physical health and if it escalates it may damage my relationship. Please pray that this person will realise that what they're doing is wrong and that they will stop. I want this person out of my life once and for all. I never want to see or hear from them ever again. Please pray that my health and relationship will not be affected.
I'm in a bad way and I really need prayers please. Thank you.

I have put down a bad year due to a lot of issues beyond my control. I'm now in the middle of a health scare and I'm absolutely TERRIFIED. Please pray for me that it's nothing serious and that everything will turn out to be okay.
