    If i was to buy a car form any other country, would i be allowed to drive it in Ireland?

    Of course you can, but first you have to pay the VRT and get it registered in Ireland.

    Ring the VRT office first to find out how much does it cost first.

    I may be getting a Moped from the US,

    Any idea what the VRT would be on that?

    Even a rough estimate.
