    Could be wisdom teeth ????

Get some 'Bonjella' it numbs your gums(hey that rhymes)
    and its availible without prescription
availible in any chemist and some super markets, try Tescos

But do go see your dentist, only use that stuff to ease the pain till you get an appointment

Theres a thing called Soothache, its a tincture, contains a local anesthetic, dab a few drops on the tooth (not the gums, whole mouth will go numb!) and the ache will freeze. That tides me over on weekends when there is no dentist. Great stuff.

    Listerine makea good interim measure.

Hold some around the tooth for as long as you can should give you a bit of relief for awhile.

Had a bit of a dicky tooth last week, and didn't bother doing anything thing about it, and wouldn't you know the pain goes into overdrive on Saturday (of the long weekend).

Beer kept it calm, or should I say kept me calm, nothing else really helped unless I stayed really busy. Of course that doesn't help when you want to sleep and can't.

Managed to get to see a dentist in Rathmines / Rathgar on Tuesday, and he just yanked the fecker (and another one for good measure).

I've learned my lesson, I won't be leaving it another 14 years before going to the dentist :D

What part of THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL BOARD didnt any of you get.

    Locked.

    Read the stickies. fs.

What if he's allergic to Soothache or he has an ulcer in his stomach and whiskey makes him barf blood?

Here's a tip for everyone: if you are sick GO TO A ****ING DOCTOR. Do not ask strangers on the internet for medical advice.

    Trust me on this one.

    DeV.
