Does anyone know how to do "foreign language characters" (i.e. á, ú, í, ó, é) in linux?

Maybe it depends on which version and which applications one is using but i'd love to know where to get info on this topic!

    Thanx!

For me, atm, on Red Hat, with kernel 2.4, alt gr and whatever vowel you want works fine for me

iirc from recent postings to the ILUG mailing list, there's been threads on UTF-8

Go search/google through the ILUG archives.
