RADSL -VIA and a router

    Hi guys,
    I recently got my netsource dsl installed and have the pc hooked up to the dlink dsl 504 router, everyhting is going fine apart from vias woeful pings :). Problem is i cant get my sisters mac hooked up to the router at all.....router ip is 192.168.0.1 pc ip is 192.168.0.2, in the mac tcp/ip settings i have entered all this info correctly, with mac ip as 192.168.0.3 and with subnet as 255.255.255.0. It doesnt even recgonise its connected to anything??? shes running OSX and os9 on a partitioned drive. any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    i just set up a D-Link 504 in a mates apt. for i-stream last week to run 2 Macs and a PC

    after configuring the router through the admin front-end on http://192.168.0.1

    i just set the Macs (one OS X and one OS 9) TCP/IP to use DCHP and get it's IP dynamically and it all worked grand
