The IVVCC Gorden Bennet Rally is on tomorrow which should be a great opportunity to see loads of classic and vintage cars. Hundreds of em!
I think it's based over the north side of Dubline somewhere but I'm not sure.

The Irish Classic and Vintage Car Show takes place next Sunday 13/7/03 in the grounds of Terenure College (Junction 11- M50 or N81 from Tallaght) from 11am to 6pm.

This is the show that formerly took place at the Hospice, Harolds Cross.

It's always an excellent show with a large variety of vehicles in attendance.

    Regards,
    Silvera.

I heard this week (unconfirmed) that Mosney Classic Car Show is on again this year - 21st Sept 03.

I last attended this show in 2000 and it is was one of the best such shows - huge selection of vehicles, well laid out, ideal (level) field, easy to find, etc.

Hopefully this show will be just as good - or even better !

Yep - the Mosney Show* is on next Sunday, 21st !
    (ref Buy & Sell paper)

Hope it's as good as 2000, when I last visited !

Another show that I have heard about is taking place on Sunday 28th Sept 03 -

    Fingal Vintage Society Annual Show***,
    Rathmoony Showgrounds (off M1),
    Lusk,
    Co. Dublin.
    Contact no - (087) 2521435.

*** This is the info I was supplied with. The American Club link above lists the show as being in Rush, Co Dublin.

The show will include cars, tractors, vintage ploughing, etc. etc.

I've never attended this particular show before so I can't comment on it.

If anybody here has been to it before, please post your comments for us.

    * N.B. - As with all show information posted here, it is important to confirm that the show is going ahead before travelling .

Well, the car show season for 2003 is all but at an end at this stage.

The only remaining event that I know of is -

    Motorbike Show/Sale & Autojumble,
    Taney Parish Centre,
    (Dundrum?).

This event is happening in the coming weeks (on a Saturday) - Check Buy & Sell 'classic car' section for confirmation.

This show has been running for a few years now.

Is there a 2004 calendar around? I'm hoping to get my GT6 back from it's extensive and expensive restoration late spring.
