BBCi relaunched in the last few hours, it now has 6 news Screens, one of which is News 24, unlike the old service News 24 is not blocked to ROI viewers, Ok It's only Quarter of a screen but it's a start!

Was that available during the news only?
'cause, all I get here on an Irish card is "The page you have requested is unavailable at the moment" !

All the service is appearing on the ftv card but only text services on the Irish card.
    No video at all.

i had all the video screens including News 24 just before 7. i think i'll be sticking with News 24 on the FTV card and BBC World. that screen is way too small. i must play around with the new BBCi later on to see what we can do with it

Mossy that would have been during the News, when the red button pointed you to those services.
Now it only points you to the text service??

Hmm, just after looking at it. Not sure that I like it. Maybe it'll grow on me but I don't like the text (in opaque blue) alongside a fullscreen picture.

Why did they drop the Change TV option I wonder

I'm looking at News 24 on my Irish sub via BBC 1 NI by pressing the red button so it works. I wonder how many people in the ROI will use the News 24 option?;)
PS Slow to load and my Grundig locked up, picture dropped out and I had to switch off and on to get picture back.

i'm after spending half an hour going through the new BBCi and i really don't know what to think of it. i think it will take a long time to get used to it.

as for BBC News 24 when there is no news on BBC1 or BBC2. i noticed that tonight and you can get the News Multiscreen by going to the A-Z Index and selecting it
