I have a just got a 64k idsn connection. Unfortunatly I have never gotten into the online opflash scene. Though maybe with my newer connection with better pings etc I might give it a shot.

though tbh, it hard to get away from dod and battlefield/desert combat

The Balbriggan exchange is supposed* to be enabled in the next week or two. As soon as it is I'll be looking for some good Flashpoint servers.. still undecided on what ISP to go with but looking forward to some online gaming.

*at the mercy of the rat.... we all know what that means

Esat Business (pings ~20-25) or Netsource (pings ~35)
Unless you can live with a 4gig cap.

    In Galway:
Eircom products and resellers: Shantalla and Mervue Exchanges

Esat products and resellers: Mervue only so far.

    Dawg, what about wireless?
Check out the IOFFL / Broadband / Nets & Comms boards for details on what's on offer.

Nah, the wireless operators havn't made it to north Dublin yet.. only option here is satellite. Thought about DublinWan but dont think I'd have LOS to any of the nodes.

I've waited this long so another while waitin on €ircon wont kill me... another month or so and hopefully I'll be up and running.

I'm currently having a bit of trouble with my router (Solwise SAR 715) and Netsource.
Eircom's DSLAMS/RADIUS servers use CHAP before passing me up to Netsource's ISP servers which use PAP. My router wasn't able to change between them, but apparently with a firmware upgrade it can, so I'm off to do that tonight, hopefully it'll work and I can finally start playing games online again.
