you really have nothing to say do you?

no wonder the envionment in this country is bolloxed. Some of us are actually doing things to help, rather that acting the smug and 'publically concerned' on this group. What have you done?

I can't solved the hospitals issue - I wish I could, but I can't... and secondly, the WRC is not the issue which Platform11 is built around. Look again - they were summound before the Oirechtas Transport Commitee regarding the utilisation of the Pheonix Park tunnel.

Go back to moderating and your bleeding heart navel-gazing to prove what a concerned and enlighten person you are, the rest of us have real projects and meaningful changes to work towards rather than swinging out of a tree in the Glen O' the Downs in order to get back at our rich parents in Dalkey.

I won't bother this group again with public transport issue.

i must say that i agree,

but i also think that Typedef is a good mod, but this board seems to lack the drive and commitment to help make a change and seems more for those seeking general infomation about recycling.

Yeah but there is an important difference betwen Green 'lite' which is where inndividuals can find out how to do something practical without getting flamed for not doing it years ago and then there is Green 'heavy' which is frequently populated by the Vegan Eco-Fascisti who immediately pounce on those who are not like them....and cause trolling on a vast scale because they are pricks..

I am trying design a FPS at the moment called 'Pesky Vegans' .

Then there is a Board called Transport for transport policy and campaigns, nice shower in there ....usually

For the rest there is a forum called Motors where I can hot me rod/soup up my Festy with 10 giant headlights and 4 exchausts in Chrome, it is at times more about Exhibitionism than Transport, it also has a perfectly good reason to exist and is modded accordingly.

/me bows to the experience of Muck

I suppose it is better that we don't have the "Vegan Eco-Fascisti" as then people would be afraid to post requesting where to start.

but i do think that more things need to be done on a national basis as opposed to a personal one.
I would be willing to pay more taxes if i knew that it was going to envoirnment issues

Well, I try to minimize packaging and take the balance to the local bring centre, I use very little energy and walk or take the bus most of the time.

I recycle paper, glass, tin and PET.
I use a compost heap for all material which will bio-degrade in under 1 year.
I have all batteries, electronic equipment, metals, etc. disposed of seperately and properly.
I commute to work on the train (its too far to walk at 30-ish km).

Then again, re-reading this post, it reads more like a personal attack on Typedef than anything else, judging by the "outrage" shown by same poster in the other thread just started about "no free speech on this forum" or some such crap.

As tempting as it is to get into a flame war with you... I'm afraid I have set aside this 'special time of day' to gaze at my navel.

    What can I say?

Oh and I live in Tralee.....

Sorry to disappoint..... run along now and behave or you will find yourself banned.

Behaving on one small level of paradigm definition implies you don't piss me off or call me names.... if you want to do that, at least do it on a fourm where I can't lock the thread or delete your abuse.

I'm going to lock this thread now.
    Have a nice day.

    Regards
    Typedef.
