Just the official blurb for a gig / music photography show that's coming up (see below...). There's a limited number of free tickets which can be availed of at www.singletonmusic.com - ta.

SINGLETON AND ROGER WOOLMAN TEAM UP FOR SPECIAL GIG
Songwriter Singleton and leading music photographer Roger Woolman are teaming up for a special one-off gig in Viva, South William Street, Dublin on 17 June at 8.30pm. The gig will feature a full-band performance from Singleton and a slideshow of rock images by Woolman taken in Ireland from 2001 to 2003.

Influenced primarily by classic 60s and 70s acts, but with a keen interest and background in modern production techniques, Singleton is currently recording his debut album and his work has been described as "great music...equal parts catchy tunes and dirty beats" by Hotpress; "fresh and exciting and guaranteed to send you home with a song in your head" by the Dublin Daily and according to In Rhythm In Sound magazine, Singleton is "creating something new and motivating for us to listen to".

Roger Woolman is recognised as Ireland's leading exponent of music photography. His subjects include U2, Radiohead, Oasis, Coldplay, The Frames and many other well-known artists.

More information about Singleton and his music can be found at his official site - www.singletonmusic.com - and you can view Roger Woolman's images at www.themusicphotographer.com.

Admission to the event is 8 Euros (5 if you are a student or unwaged).
