What do you think the big moves will be this summer in Italian football?
I foresee Mendieta returning to Lazio (he is currently only onloan to Berca).
I foresee A.C. Milan buying a right back.
I Foresee Inter being too broke to spend.
I foresee Juve being to picky to spend.
I foresee Luca Toni going to Cheivo.
    After that I'm lost.

Can see Milan splashing some money on some of the classy young players in the Dutch league. Van der Vaart, Chivu maybe Pienaar (haven't seen much of him, just heard good things).

They could do with another established center back too, Nesta & Maldini are brilliant but they need some cover.

Dunno about the rest of the teams in Serie A tbh, don't see much of them since Channel4's stopped their coverage :\

I don't think AC will go for a right full. Granted Costacurta may not continue next year but they have Simic and Laursen who can both fill in there. I can see them going for a centre half. They have been linked with a move for Jaap Stam. Maldini says he will retire at the end of next season so I think they will bring one in and give him a year of 'blending time'. If Rivaldo leaves there might be a little movement for a midfielder.

As for Inter I think they could do with offloading Recoba and buying a decent striker with what they get for him - maybe Heskey off Liverpool or Sheringham :p

What I think Juve need is another good midfielder. They have shown in the CL this season their lack of creativity when the likes of Nedved and Davids aren't around. They ahve a gerat defense IMO and their attack can do their job with aplomb too.

    .

Laursen is a centre back, and a bad one at that.
I think you might have ment Helveg, who is ok, but no very consistant, which never helps.
Simic is a decaint right back but Milan need a more attacking right full, I still cant figure out why contra was sold, he was better going forward than figo...
And as for centre backs, roque junior is cover for now, I think Chivu might be a target, he is so much like maldini it's scary.
And If rivaldo goes Milan won't be russing to sing another world class attacker too quick, they already have a selection headace.

Laursen is a joke. I'll be surprised (and disapointed) if he's still there come the start of next season.

"I still cant figure out why contra was sold, he was better going forward than figo..."

There's the problem. He was good as an attacking wingback but was woeful as a defender, which, in Ancelloti's mind, is a complete no-no.

Ah now, Contra was a good defender, he wasn't the best in the air, but he wouldn't have to be, he was fast and was good with the tackles, exactly what Milan need in a right full, like Kaladze on the left(Eventhough Kladaze can play left wing and centre back as well).
ho hurm, Poyul is teh winor for Milan methinks.

As a Barce supporter ahead of a Milan supporter, I'd like to see Milan get Puyol, then Barce might actually get a qaulity right full. Puyol is so over-rated.
Also Real are planning on going in for Chivu too I think.

I can't belive a Berca fan called Poyul bad!
he was thier best player all season, the fan's over there worship him, he won thier player of the year by over 70% of the votes on the official web site, they even started a moation to make him captian!

Yeah like I said totally over-rated.
Best player all season I dunno about that, but the fact is Barcelona have had a terrible season so it wouldnt be all that hard to come out as best player.
Cocu was more consistant than him.

When were image tags turned off?

Rumours are strong about Mark Viduka following former team mate Olivier Dacourt to A.S. Roma. According to skysports.co.uk his agents have been in rome already. I can see Milan winning the Serie A title next year. I can also picture one of the big Stars of La Liga moving to Italy:D
