    heya's,

would greatly apreciate if someone with good pc value evaluation skills could help me put a price tag on my machine :).

    System is:

    AMD xp2600 333 fsb
    Radeon 9700 Pro
    Asus A7V8X
    2x256 Corsair xms3200
    40gig Maxtor 7,200 rpm 2m, ata 133
    CD-ROM
    CD-RW 42x
    Eicon PCI isdn card
17 " Hansol Monitor dyna flat

In a nice Antec Case with intake/outake fan, can control speeds, two front fans very quiet Akasa cooler, quiet pc and runs at cool temps.

    Thanks a mil,

    Samba

I think not, Elara must be losing the run of themselves compared to Komplett:

    114488 AMD Athlon XP2600+ 2.083 GHz 333 MHz bus
    - Socket A (Thoroughbred) prosessor. 99,70
117359 Asus A7V8X-X mainboard Socket A DDR LAN
    - VIAKT400, ATA/133, ATX, USB2.0, 8X AGP 66,53
    113958 Hansol 17" CRT 730ED TCO-99
    - Monitor, INVAR, DynaFlat (UK) 138,62
    117212 Corsair Value S. PC3200 DDR-DIMM 512MB
    - Unbuffered, Non-parity, 64Megx64, CL2.5 74,23
    105823 Sony CD Drive IDE 52x (CDU-5211) OEM 22,28
115954 MSI CD recorder IDE 52x/24x/52x
    - CR52X. , Internal. Retail 48,54
    113466 Maxtor IDE ATA-133 40GB 7200RPM
    - DiamondMax Plus 8, Hard Drive 64,05
    114094 Sapphire Radeon 9700 Atlantis PRO 128MB
    - AGP, ATI 9700PRO, DVI, TV-Out, Retail 312,30
109602 Asuscom Modem ISDN Card PCI
    - Internal Retail 27,29
114743 Microsoft MultiMedia & Optical Val. Pack
    - Mouse & Keyboard, PS/2, English 31,70
108598 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
    - Software English, OEM 94,68
    113110 Chieftec Dragon Aluminium, Tower
    - Case w/300W power P4/AMD, Silver, (UK) 95,17
115236 Cooler Master CPU fan Socket A/7/FCPGA
    - CP5-6J31C, to 1,4GHz, upto XP2800+ 11,70

    TOTAL €1088 + VAT = €1316, saving a cool €900 on Elara

If you're selling on boards with legit XP home, you would look at around the €1000 - €1100 mark here Samba, maybe slightly more cause shipping from Komplett adds about €90 to above. On B&S ya might get €1500, who knows ;)

I know how you feel about depreciation m8. Ordered XP2400+ from Komplett 5 months ago for €212 which seemed a good price at the time, is now €90 so 2nd hand I would not get more than €70 on boards :(

    Could be worse - had I gone for the XP2600+ at the time - then 390, now 120, 2nd hand €95 :)

It is sickening to see the devaluation of computer components :)

thanks for the suggestion tags, off travelling in November, but would probably be better off selling now at the rate prices fall :(.

She may be up for grabs soon......the antec case not add a few squid on to her? :), has a key to turn it on and all :D (not my own doing)

Yeah your case is nicer :)
