Leitrim v Galway Galway to win
Dublin v Louth Louth to win
Meath v Westmeath Westmeath to Win

    Hurling
Limerick v Waterford Waterford to win
Dublin v Laois (May 31st) Dublin to win

You are mad. Donegal will beat Fermanagh and Dublin will beat Louth. Also as much as i would like to see Westmeath beat their neighbours, I would make Meath favourites for that match. The hurling I agree that Dublin should beat Laois if they can keep 15 on the field but Limerick v Waterford could go either way. In fact that should be a cracking good game.

    bastard.

    6 yellow cards & 2 reds.

not a single frickin free within 50 yards of the Offaly goal in the ENTIRE game.

    ****.

McDonald did not deserve a straight red. At most a caution.

    Typical Cavan.

anyway...we didn't play great. I thought it was rather ****e tbh. Great start by Laois.

    Suppose the conditions didn't help.

    ****ing ref

Ahem... the ref in our game didn't help us much either, Kaim. Sending Larry Reilly off and giving Antrim easy frees. I didn't moan about him. So theres nothing wrong with the Cavan ref, it must just be Laois. :D

Maybe he saw a picture in his head of Brewster hitting Gildea from the Donegal, Fermanagh match yesterday...

No this was from the throw in, Brewster hit Gildea right on the jaw and got away with it and the ref was right in front of it. It was a straight red offence. Roper was the player that got sent off for a second booking.

yea, I saw the box go in straight away.

another example of the inconsistancy of the GAA when it comes to indicipline. :(

Yeah what was with that? No place for cameras or something? You'd think they'd have plenty in a big sized stadium such as Semple.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,396 ✭✭✭✭kaimera

something about Semple being unsafe for the camera crews.

it was a shame alright. it was a fantastic game of hurling. will the replay be on the telly? i wont be able to attend because of other plans

Camera crews will be allowed back into semple for the replay.
If the correct saftey precautions have been taken.
RTE would be mad not to show it.

    Football
Fermanagh v Donegal Fermanagh to win - Right - 1 out of 1
Leitrim v Galway Galway to win - Right - 2 out of 2
Dublin v Louth Louth to win - Wrong - 2 out of 3
Meath v Westmeath Westmeath to Win - Ooh, nearly - 2 out of 4

    Hurling
Limerick v Waterford Waterford to win - Ooh nearly again - 2 out of 5
    Dublin v Laois (May 31st) Dublin to win - - Right - 3 out of 6

    Accurcy: 50%

What possessed you to think that Louth would beat Dublin? That was never on the cards.

Louth aren't all that bad really and I had thought that they would put up a better fight. And Dublin aren't all that great - a lot of roaring and shouting about nothing.

Dublin are Leinster champions and were the width of a post from an All Ireland final appearance last year. Give the team a bit of credit. Also they have found a couple of free kick takers this year, so I can't see anyone in Leinster beat them, and I would not rule out a final appearance from them this year.

Awright point taken on the Dubs on their performance so far this year. We'll see how they get on.
