Help! Cisco Router & Esat ADSL

    Hi All,

I'm trying to setup ESAT's ADSL on a Cisco 837 Router / Firewall.

Esat's Technical Support (their description - not mine!) keep assuring me that all I need is the supplied IP address - the one in the 193.20.x.x range.

I'm hitting my head off a brick wall here. I know it's PPPoA. Can anyone advise on how to setup this router?

(And why couldn't they use PPPoE like Eircom! I don't love Eircom, but it's a hell of a lot easier to setup:)

    Thanks in Advance,

    E.

Can't guarantee I can help, but for starters, which IOS version are you using? And can I presume you're configuring via CLI?
