Didn't she tell you the cost when trying to sell it to you?

Didn't you ask her the cost, when you were interested in buying?

Am I stupid to even answer?

She did in fact give me the costs all were ex vat and i was just lazy, thought someone here who had it, could tell me what he paid initially to get it setup, and what he pays quarterly now

Installation is 125 + vat and the billing is quaterly in advance. So for your first bill you will be charged €125 + €270(3 months rental). + VAT.

So your talking around €480 including vat for the first three months. Your then charged €325 every 3 months from then on. The modem is free, static ip, and you also have the choice to unbundle your line so you dont have to pay the rental.....

Your line probably doesn't qualify for this anyway despite Esat saying so since it doesn't qualify for RADSL on the other system. Esat seem to have a policy of sending out the forms and only testing those lines for which an application has been recieved for Esat's business DSL. I tried for weeks to get a line test with them. All they would tell me was that the line was 'probably OK' since it passed for Eircom's ADSL and was near the exchange. I never got an official result of a line test.

I doubt if this is actually the case, as I said. I would say that probably you fail for all forms of DSL (including Esat's business DSL).

If your connected to the Tycor exchange in waterford then this would be the case. Tycor is upgraded by Esat only ( eircom at the start of next month ). So thats why you can get the business package and not RADSL.
